Job summary

At Civica, the Democracy team invites a Software and Product Trainer to design and deliver training for Civica Xpress and Civica Electoral Management products, including e-learning, Teams sessions, and face-to-face delivery.

You will create engaging training guides and exercises, support customers with product questions, and work with the Xpress Support team during busy election periods to ensure accurate, up-to-date training across our electoral services portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering software, product or technology-based training, including creating training guides, learning materials or e-learning content.
• Confident presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to audiences with different levels of experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused and supportive approach.
• Good IT skills, including presentation, word-processing, spreadsheets and online collaboration tools.
• Proactive, organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage competing priorities and learn Civica’s electoral products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging product training for delivery through e-learning, Teams and face-to-face sessions.
• Deliver training on Civica Xpress and Civica Electoral Management to customers and internal colleagues.
• Create and maintain training guides, exercises, workshops, documentation and online content.
• Support customers with product questions, remotely and on-site.
• Keep knowledge of electoral products up-to-date with relevant legislation.
• Deliver product demonstrations to prospective customers and contribute to user groups and conferences.
• Collaborate with the Xpress Support team, providing support during busy election periods.
