Job summary

CV TECHNICAL LTD is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to maintain a range of production equipment including conveyors, fillers, sealers, thermoformers and weighers. The role focuses on electrical fault finding, PLC fault finding and working with sensors, relays, drives and contactors on 3‑phase and single‑phase systems.

You will also work with hydraulics and pneumatics and perform TIG welding of stainless steel.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Strong electrical bias.
• Excellent PLC knowledge and fault-finding skills.

The role:

• Electrical fault finding and maintenance

• PLC fault finding - essential

• Sensors, relays, drives, inverters and contactors

• 3-phase & single-phase systems

• Hydraulics and pneumatics

• TIG welding stainless steel

• Continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs

What we're looking for:

Package:

£46,000+ salary
£3,500 shift allowance
Double days: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
25 days holiday + bank holidays
