Job summary
MorePeople are recruiting an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer for an established food manufacturing site in Wisbech. The hands-on role covers production and packaging machinery, with strong electrical fault-finding and PLC-controlled equipment.
You will fault find across electrical and mechanical systems, respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime, work with PLCs, automation, motors, drives and sensors, and complete planned maintenance. The position follows a 4 on 4 off dayshift.
Qualifications
- Electrical/engineering qualification required.
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with mechanical maintenance.
- PLC/automation experience advantageous.
- Experience in manufacturing or FMCG/food sectors.
Responsibilities
- Fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems.

- Supporting reliability and improvement projects
You'll need:
- Electrical/engineering qualification
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Mechanical maintenance experience
- PLC/automation experience
- Manufacturing/FMCG/food experience
£50K | 4 on 4 off Days (06:00 - 18:00)
