Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer in Goole (DN14). You will join a small team to maintain equipment and machinery across filling, blending and packaging lines, perform fault finding, and drive continuous improvement in reliability.

Work is days only, Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Friday until 2pm. Up to £45,000 DOE, stable manufacturing environment with opportunities to lead a small engineering team.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance background in manufacturing.
• 18th Edition (or willingness to update).
• Experience working with electrically controlled equipment.
• Knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to diagnose faults and resolve electrical failures.
• Computer literate with maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out activities on the Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) programme.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and basic mechanical faults.
• Support production teams with engineering solutions.
• Maintain documentation and assist with site improvement projects.

Join a well-established manufacturing business as the electrically biased maintenance engineer, working within a small team, maintaining equipment and machinery, fault finding and continuous improvement activities. This is an excellent opportunity if you're an experienced maintenance engineer looking for a stable days-based role with no weekend working.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with the manager and one newly qualified engineer.
• Carrying out activities on the Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) programme.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and basic mechanical faults.
• Support production teams with engineering solutions.
• Maintain documentation as necessary and assist with site improvement projects.

Requirements
