Job summary

Lorien is seeking an eLearning Content Officer for a public sector organization. The role is mainly remote with occasional travel to Edinburgh, focused on creating and maintaining engaging online learning content that blends creativity with technology and stakeholder engagement.

You will develop interactive materials, review modules, ensure accessibility, and report on learner engagement, partnering with teams to enhance digital learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience creating or updating digital learning content.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle or similar.
• Knowledge of eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and/or H5P.
• Excellent proofreading and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain content within a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Develop interactive learning materials using tools such as Articulate 360, H5P, video and multimedia content.
• Support the review and enhancement of existing eLearning modules.
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop new learning resources.
• Ensure content meets accessibility standards and best practice guidelines.
• Proofread and quality check content prior to publication.
• Produce reports and insights on learner engagement and module performance.
• Support ongoing improvements to the user experience across digital learning platforms.

The Role

You\'ll support the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of a suite of online learning resources, ensuring content remains accurate, accessible and engaging for users.

Key responsibilities include:

About You
