Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council's Early Learning & Childcare (ELC) service is recruiting an ELC Key Worker (37hrs) 52 weeks at Petersburn Family Learning Centre, Airdrie. You will plan, develop and coordinate learning programmes to support young children and families.

You will be a proactive communicator, building strong relationships with children, parents and partner professionals, and you will hold the required SVQ/SCQF qualifications and meet SSSC registration requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an Early Learning & Childcare environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional learning and development.
• Meet the registration requirements for Practitioner Level with the SSSC.
• PVG Scheme membership is required or willingness to join.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate learning programmes within ELC to meet children’s needs.
• Create engaging and stimulating learning experiences for children.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
