Job summary

Scottish Borders Council is seeking a Grade 6C Early Learning and Childcare practitioner to contribute to all aspects of childcare and education in the ELC setting in Kelso. This 35-hour-per-week, permanent role offers a salary within £30,880 to £33,344 per annum.

You will meet essential qualifications, support CPD, and collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality learning experiences for children in our community.

Qualifications

• Essential: at least one of the listed qualifications.
• Must be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of appointment and maintain registration.

Responsibilities

• You will contribute to all aspects of childcare and education in the ELC setting and take an active part in other appropriate duties as required.

HNC in Childhood Practice/Childcare & Education SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People)

SCQF 7 / SVQ 3 Children's Care, Learning & Development
