Job summary

Enisca Browne, part of Browne Group, is seeking an EICA Design Engineer to design and develop Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation systems for water treatment projects. You will work with civil, mechanical and process engineers from concept through commissioning to ensure robust integration and project success.

On-site work 3 days a week is required to support field deployment and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in EICA design engineering, ideally within water or wastewater sectors.
• Understanding of control system architectures, PLCs, SCADA systems, and instrumentation used in water treatment.
• Experience developing electrical and control designs such as SLDs, control strategies, and I/O schedules.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and control system design.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication within multidisciplinary teams.
• Highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks in fast-paced projects.
• Experience with electrical design tools, PLC/SCADA programming and instrumentation.
• Understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and their EICA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop EICA systems for water treatment projects from concept to commissioning.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical and process engineers to ensure seamless integration of EICA components.
• Support project delivery teams to ensure safe, efficient implementation and timely handover.
