Irwin and Colton invites an EIA Advisor to join its UK-focused infrastructure team. You will provide environmental advice across highway projects, supporting EIA processes and coordinating environmental information with internal and external partners.

The role requires a degree in Environmental Science or a related field, solid knowledge of EIA techniques and strong data handling and reporting abilities. Hybrid working with offices across the South of the UK is offered.

Formación

• Degree in Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Understanding of Environmental Impact Assessment processes and relevant legislation.
• Strong research, data handling, report writing and organisational skills.
• Good communication and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Provide environmental advice and support across infrastructure projects with design, construction and operation teams.
• Support Environmental Impact Assessments and coordinate environmental information from internal teams and external consultants.
• Identify environmental risks and opportunities to help projects meet legislation and guidance.
• Engage with clients, regulators and planning authorities to support project delivery.

Ready to build your expertise in Environmental Impact Assessment and contribute to major UK infrastructure projects?

We're recruiting for an EIA Advisor to join a leading UK infrastructure contractor with a turnover exceeding £2bn. You'll be joining an established team of over 30 environmental professionals, supporting the delivery of essential highway infrastructure and helping identify practical solutions to environmental challenges.

This is a hybrid role, with offices across Oxfordshire, Beaconsfield, Bristol, Exeter, Cambridge, Suffolk, Ipswich, Luton and Winchester.

What will you be doing?

• Providing environmental advice and support across infrastructure projects, working alongside design, construction and operational teams.
• Supporting Environmental Impact Assessments and coordinating environmental information from internal teams and external consultants.
• Identifying environmental risks and opportunities, helping projects meet relevant legislation and guidance.
• Engaging with clients, regulators, planning authorities and other stakeholders to support effective project delivery.

What will you bring?

• A degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• An understanding of Environmental Impact Assessment processes and relevant environmental legislation.
• Strong research, data handling, report writing and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to offices and project sites when required.
