Job summary

Airbus is seeking an Environment, Health & Safety Manager to join the Facilities Management and Real Estate team at Broughton, North Wales. You will provide practical EHS guidance, support strategic projects and help ensure service providers operate safely and in line with relevant legal requirements.

The role offers a long-term contract running until 30 September 2027, with a strong likelihood of extension. Working 35 hours per week across 4.5 days, onsite with no travel.

Qualifications

NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (minimum).
Experience with Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations.
Experience in facilities management/real estate/construction environments.
Experience building relationships with stakeholders.
Experience implementing safety projects in fast-paced settings.
Knowledge of formal risk assessment and auditing techniques.

Responsibilities

Support FM/RE teams with risk controls for activities and service providers.
Ensure compliance for operation and maintenance of plant and equipment.
Review safety management systems of contractors during pre-qualification.
Conduct EHS inspections of internal operations and provider activities.
Maintain inspection records and action plans.
Provide EHS guidance across strategic projects and reviews.
