Job summary

Guidant Global, in partnership with Airbus, seeks an experienced Environment, Health & Safety Manager to join the Facilities Management and Real Estate team at Broughton. This onsite role requires delivering practical EHS guidance, supporting strategic projects and ensuring legal compliance across operations and service providers.

The role is based onsite at Broughton with working hours spread across 4.5 days between 7:00am and 7:00pm; it runs on a long-term contract through 30 September 2027

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• Experience with Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations.
• Facilities management/real estate or construction exposure.
• Proven ability to work with key business stakeholders.
• Experience delivering safety projects in fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on risk assessment and auditing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support FMRE team with risk controls for activities and service providers.
• Ensure safety requirements for plant/equipment operation and maintenance.
• Review contractor safety management systems during pre-qualification.
• Conduct EHS inspections of operations and service providers.
• Maintain formal inspection records and action plans.
• Provide EHS guidance across strategic projects and reviews.
• Implement compliance audits per CDM 2015 and Building Safety Act.
• Ensure incident reporting and investigation of injuries and environmental events.
• Support management with safety reviews, KPI reporting and inductions.
• Promote EHS topics across the organisation and engage colleagues.
