Job summary

Guidant Global is recruiting an experienced Environment, Health & Safety Manager to join the Facilities Management and Real Estate team at Broughton, North Wales. You will help maintain the highest safety standards, provide practical EHS guidance and support strategic projects.

The role offers a long‑term contract running until 30 September 2027 with a strong likelihood of extension, a 35‑hour week across 4.5 days, and opportunities to influence EHS practices across a complex environment.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent minimum.
• Experience with Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations.
• Experience in facilities management, real estate, construction or maintenance environments.
• Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Experience delivering safety-related projects in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Support risk controls for facilities management activities and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with plant and work equipment requirements.
• Review contractor safety management systems during pre-qualification.
• Conduct EHS inspections of internal operations and suppliers.
• Maintain inspection records and action plans.
• Provide EHS guidance across strategic projects and design reviews.
• Ensure compliance audits including CDM 2015 and Building Safety Act.
• Investigate incidents and oversee remedial actions and reporting.
