Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an Environment, Health & Safety Manager to join the Facilities Management and Real Estate team at Broughton, North Wales. You will support the business to maintain the highest safety standards and foster an inclusive, value-driven workplace.

In this role you will implement risk controls, review safety management systems, conduct EHS inspections, and provide expert guidance on CDM 2015 and Building Safety Act compliance.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (minimum).
• Demonstrated experience in reporting to and working with key stakeholders to implement safety projects in a dynamic environment.
• First-hand experience of formal risk assessment and auditing techniques.
• Relevant experience in Facilities Management (including construction and maintenance).
• A team player who can also work autonomously with a positive attitude and strong safety mindset.
• Understanding of pragmatic application of health and safety standards; proactive CPD including IOSH (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Support FMRE team to ensure risk controls are in place for activities and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with new plant and work equipment requirements and maintenance.
• Review safety management systems of prospective FMRE contractors.
• Conduct EHS inspections and support in records and action plans.
• Provide safety guidance for strategic projects through feasibility and design reviews.
• Implement processes and complete compliance audits for CDM 2015 and Building Safety Act.
• Ensure reporting and investigation of incidents with remedial actions implemented.
• Promote EHS topics across all levels and drive safety reviews, KPIs and inductions.
