Job summary

Flex, a global manufacturing group, is seeking an EHS Manager to supervise environmental health and safety across the Blackburn and Preston sites. You will implement ISO 45001 and 14001 standards and drive safety training, incident prevention, and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Head of EHS EMEA, you will collaborate with senior management, coordinate with subcontractors, and travel between sites as needed. A relevant degree and IOSH/NEBOSH membership are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree and demonstrable experience in a similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Experience working with sub-contractors.
• Member of IOSH or NEBOSH.
• Ability to advise on EHS issues and lead day-to-day EHS activities.
• Full driving licence is essential as travel between sites is required.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for EHS across Blackburn and Preston Operations.
• Communicate Environmental, Health & Safety matters to the Senior Management Team.
• Develop and implement EHS strategy, processes and procedures.
• Coordinate and maintain ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 systems.
• Review and approve EHS activities for issue resolution.
