Job summary

Yolk Recruitment are supporting an established industrial site in Port Talbot with an EHS Engineer role. This hands-on position covers health, safety and environmental management, risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, training and EHS reporting, working closely with manufacturing teams to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.

The role suits a NEBOSH-qualified EHS/HSE professional with experience in manufacturing, engineering, metals or industrial environments.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification and experience in EHS roles.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage Health, Safety and Environmental activities across the site.
• Complete and review risk assessments, COSHH assessments and SWPs.
• Lead accident, incident and near-miss investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Provide guidance on legislation and best practice within EHS.
• Assess equipment, machinery and work activities for improvements.
• Support EHS procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with audits, inspections and maintaining management systems.
• Provide EHS training and coaching to staff and managers.
• Monitor environmental processes and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate waste management and environmental reporting.
