Job summary

Continuum Recruitment Group is supporting an established manufacturing business in the appointment of an EHS Manager to drive operational improvement and strengthen EHS performance within a busy manufacturing environment.

This hands-on, continuous improvement focused role requires practical solutions, ownership of safety improvements and collaboration with site leadership, engineering and operations teams to embed EHS into day-to-day manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Established EHS experience within manufacturing
• Practical understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and their application to EHS
• Track record of identifying, developing and implementing improvements through to completion
• Ability to work collaboratively with operational teams, influencing behaviours and ownership of safety
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, risk management and compliance requirements
• Relevant professional qualifications, ideally NEBOSH, or equivalent experience

Continuum Recruitment Group are supporting an established manufacturing business in the appointment of an EHS Manager to support operational improvement and strengthen EHS performance across a busy manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on, continuous improvement focused role for someone who sees EHS as more than compliance, audits and identifying risks.

Our client is looking for someone who can understand operational challenges, develop practical solutions and take responsibility for implementing improvements that deliver measurable results.

Working closely with site leadership, engineering and operational teams, you will play a key role in developing safer working practices, improving existing processes and embedding EHS into day-to-day manufacturing operations.

We are particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate:

• Established EHS experience within manufacturing or a similarly demanding manufacturing environment.
• A practical understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and their application to EHS.
• A track record of identifying, developing and implementing improvements through to completion.
• The ability to work collaboratively with operational teams, influencing behaviours and encouraging ownership of safety.
• Confidence to challenge existing practices, engage with senior stakeholders and support meaningful operational change.
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, risk management and compliance requirements.
• Relevant professional qualifications, ideally NEBOSH, or equivalent experience.

This is not a role for someone who simply identifies problems and produces recommendations. The business needs someone who can work with stakeholders to solve problems, implement solutions and ensure improvements become part of how the operation works.
