Job summary

Herbert Parkinson, a part of the John Lewis Partnership, is seeking an HSE Assistant to support Environmental, Health and Safety standards and site compliance. • Demonstrated experience in an EHS role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of HS&E legislation and industry developments.
• Conduct regular branch checks to ensure HS&E policies are followed.
• Ensure documentation aligns with standard templates and ISO accreditation.
• Review risk assessments and take action to reduce risk.
• Support and drive HS&E initiatives through on-site representatives.
• Ensure reporting mechanisms for Near Misses, Accidents, and RIDDORs.
