The Technology, Consultancy & Innovation (TC&I) Business manages the UK's largest network of research and development engineering laboratories. We collaborate across sectors with clients involved in hydrogen, fusion, Small Modular Reactors, decommissioning, infrastructure, and defense projects.
This role is ideal for someone recently qualified, seeking to gain professional experience in a team of EHS professionals. It is a professional entry-level position, preferably with some experience, reporting directly to the Head of EHS.
You will provide advice and support on Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) issues to operations and facilities management at the Birchwood Campus. The role requires familiarity with management systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
Relevant Health and Safety qualification (NVQ 4/5 or NEBOSH General Certificate) and Tech/Grad IOSH or working towards higher qualification. A good understanding of EHS requirements, incident investigation, and legislation is essential, along with strong communication skills.
