Job summary

Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow is seeking an Application Support specialist to maintain the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and related systems. You will ensure accurate patient activity data, secure information governance, and timely communication with patients within the Trust and local Health Economy.

The role involves supporting EHR modules, participating in incident/problem/change management, managing access controls, and providing user training.

Responsibilities

• Build and test new diagnostic orders on the ICT system when requested.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Trust applications supported by the Application Support team.
• Adhere to ITSM practices, including incident, problem, release and change management.
• Manage day-to-day duties including system management, security and access control.
• Review the ITSM queue and ensure calls are logged and progressed within SLA.
• Participate in Change and Problem Management processes.
• Monitor data quality in line with the Trust data quality policy.
• Provide second/third line support for EHR in conjunction with the IT service desk.
• Assist in developing Trust Policies, Processes and Systems.
• Provide training to end users on relevant applications.
