Job summary

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Application Support Analyst to oversee the Ordercomms Support Team within ICT. You will manage, develop, and maintain the EHR (Cerner Millenium) and related ordercomms systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

The role requires ITSM expertise (ITIL), incident and change management, security and RBAC, and training for staff. You will work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and improve system

Qualifications

• Experience supporting EHR and ordercomms within a NHS/Trust environment.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM processes (ITIL) and SLA management.
• Ability to manage security and access controls for sensitive health data.
• Experience in incident, problem, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the Ordercomms Support Team and deputise for the Systems Manager when required.
• Build and test new diagnostic orders on the ICT system.
• Monitor the ITSM queue and ensure calls are resolved within SLA.
• Maintain data quality and governance for patient information in the EHR.
• Provide specialist training to IT staff and end users as required.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
