Job summary

Driver Hire York is seeking a driver to operate an electric Class 1 vehicle with an immediate start. The assignment is temporary but ongoing to cover sickness and holiday leave, based in York/Harrogate region. You will hold a Class 1/C+E licence, CPC, and a tachograph card, with a reliable work ethic expected.

Typical shift starts early (05:00–08:00), lasts around 12–13 hours, and covers roughly 20 miles per day. Vehicle is eHGV with a Trailer Bulk Tipper (wheat).

Qualifications

• Must hold Class 1 / Cat C+E licence.
• Must have CPC and a digital tachograph card.
• Reliable, dependable with excellent work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Drive electric Class 1 vehicle with an immediate start.
• Shift length approximately 12–13 hours and about 20 miles per day.
• Operate Trailer Bulk Tipper (wheat) in compliance with CPC/tachograph rules.
