Job summary

Driver Hire York are seeking an experienced driver to operate an electric Class 1 vehicle with an immediate start. The role is temporary but ongoing to cover sickness and holidays, with early starts between 05:00 and 08:00 and long shifts.

Requirements include a Class 1 / Cat C+E licence, CPC and digital tachograph card, and a reliable work ethic. Training day will be provided for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Hold a Class 1 / Cat C+E licence and CPC with tachograph card.
• Reliable, dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Immediate start for temporary ongoing cover.

Responsibilities

• Start between 05:00 and 08:00.
• Shift roughly 12–13 hours.
• Mileage about 20 miles per day.
• Drive an electric Class 1 vehicle (eHGV) with Trailer Bulk Tipper (wheat).

• Trailer Bulk Tipper (wheat)
• £16 / hour
