Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Senior Manager / Associate Director, EHDS Data Cataloguing to lead the data inventory and cataloguing efforts across EHDS. The role requires coordinating data owners, applying HealthDCAT-AP standards, and ensuring metadata is complete, consistent and discoverable for data users.

The position demands advanced data governance expertise, at least 8 years in pharma or healthcare data, and strong leadership in a global matrix with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a scientific/tech/healthcare field.
• At least 8 years of pharmaceutical, healthcare, scientific, or data experience.
• Expertise in data cataloging, metadata management, data classification, data governance.
• Knowledge of clinical/health data standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM); familiarity with HealthDCAT-AP/DCAT-AP is a plus.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and matrix collaboration.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Leads EHDS Data Inventory and Cataloging workstream across data owners.
• Maintains complete inventory of in-scope data including ownership, EHDS category, status.
• Applies EHDS metadata standards for interoperability and discoverability.
• Develops minimum metadata requirements, decision framework, and guidance.
• Coordinates with data owners to obtain and validate dataset information.
• Drives data quality and coverage across geographies; coordinates remediation with owners.
• Registers and maintains dataset descriptions in required catalogues; ensures updates.
• Defines SOPs, training, and controls for cataloging across functions.
