Job summary

Cardinal Newman College is seeking an EHCP and PEEP Coordinator to support students with EHCPs and Personal Educational Entitlement Plans. The role requires experience in SEND settings and a solid understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.

You will coordinate the EHCP process across the College, manage the annual review cycle, and maintain accurate records. The position is full-time, term-time plus 4 weeks, with a competitive pay spine.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English Language and Mathematics at Grade 4–9 (A*–C), or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience of working with young people in an education, support or SEND setting, including supporting learners on mainstream Level 3 programmes.
• Sound understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and Lancashire’s Local Offer.

Responsibilities

• EHCP coordination and annual reviews.
• Coordinate the EHCP process across all relevant areas of the College, including Foundation Learning.
• Plan, prepare and manage the annual EHCP review cycle, including paperwork, evidence and review meetings.
• Ensure EHCP information, outcomes and agreed support arrangements are recorded and shared with teaching and support staff.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ EHCPs, annual review dates, key contacts and actions.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure documentation is completed and submitted on time.
