Job summary

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council is recruiting an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Coordinator on a part-time basis (18.5 hours) to join our SEND team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality case management for EHCPs, working with families, schools and health and social care professionals.

You will coordinate caseloads under the Children and Families Act 2014, lead Annual Reviews, and contribute to service improvements within a supportive, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEND, education, health or social care settings.
• Ability to manage a caseload with attention to statutory processes.
• Strong communication with families, schools and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage a caseload of EHCPs in accordance with relevant legislation.
• Work with parents, schools, health and social care colleagues to ensure outcomes.
• Lead Annual Review processes and communicate decisions clearly.
