Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council through its Education, Health and Care (EHC) Assessment Service seeks a 12-month fixed-term professional to manage statutory EHC plan processes for children and young people. You will draft, review and amend plans, coordinating annual reviews and advising families based on thorough assessments.

Hybrid working over 37 hours per week, based at Meadow House, with close collaboration with schools and multi-agency professionals.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in social work, education or a related field.
• Experience of managing statutory assessment processes.
• Strong understanding of the Children and Families Act 2014.
• Ability to draft and develop comprehensive EHC plans.
• Clear, accessible communication and empathy with families.

Responsibilities

• Manage the statutory assessment process for EHC plans.
• Collaborate with families and professionals to tailor support.
• Draft, review and amend EHC plans based on comprehensive assessments.
• Coordinate annual reviews and monitor progress for children and young people.
• Advise families on EHC plans and maintain records in line with policies.
