MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions seeks an EH&S Manager to lead environmental, health and safety programs at its Wantage, Oxfordshire site. This on-site role reports to Supply Chain and Site Director and ensures regulatory compliance and continuous safety improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to navigate complex regulations, and effective communication to engage teams across production, maintenance and engineering.

Responsabilidades

• EH&S Leadership: Develop, implement, and manage site-wide EH&S strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with global standards and local regulations.
• Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with environmental permits, health and safety legislation, and internal standards. Conduct risk assessments and lead mitigation.
• Management: Lead investigations into EH&S incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Training & Engagement: Deliver EH&S training programs and promote employee engagement through safety campaigns, toolbox talks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Reporting: Conduct internal audits, prepare regulatory reports, and maintain accurate records of EH&S performance metrics. Take responsibility for maintaining the business's ISO 14001 and IATF accreditations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and corporate EH&S teams to ensure alignment and support for the site.
