Principal / Associate Environmental Consultant - Environmental Due Diligence

Location:

Hybrid - 2/3 days per week in our offices in either London, Manchester or Leeds

Permanent, full-time

Opportunity:

Join our sector-leading Environmental Transaction Services (ETS) team. We are recruiting both Associate and Principal level consultants to provide environmentally focused due diligence advice supporting real estate transactions, mergers, and acquisitions across the UK and Europe.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Lead our established environmental due diligence teams managing technical projects related to ground risk, flood risk, environmental compliance, and sustainability.
2. Provide technical support in ground risk and environmental compliance, with some knowledge of sustainability.
3. Manage multiple, time-critical projects, including multi-site portfolios within the UK and Europe.
4. Oversee financial performance, meet budgets, and report metrics.
5. Develop and maintain client relationships, liaise with clients, and support junior team members.
6. Interpret technical data and deliver commercially sound advice aligned with clients' investment objectives.
7. Manage suppliers and third-party specialists efficiently and cost-effectively.
8. Line manage senior team members, providing coaching and performance feedback.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in ground risk, environmental compliance, with some understanding of sustainability.
• Proven project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent IT skills, including MS Office.
• Full UK driving license (preferred).
