About The Role

Benefact Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Gloucester office.

The role involves supporting the Benefact Group’s technology transformation by managing strategic initiatives. As part of the Transformation team, closely aligned with Group Technology, the project manager will ensure effective delivery of complex IT change projects, playing a key role in advancing the company’s technology strategy and delivering value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead strategic projects, ensuring they meet business needs and deliver value, within agreed cost, time, and quality parameters.
  • Oversee and manage complex IT change projects, coordinating with IT teams and stakeholders for seamless integration.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  • Coordinate multiple teams and manage dependencies, facilitating collaboration using agile, waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Work with external suppliers to ensure deliverables meet requirements and are integrated smoothly.
  • Plan and execute data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate to ensure operational and business readiness post-implementation.
  • Utilize Jira for project tracking, issue management, and reporting.
  • Manage project planning, budgeting, capacity, risks, and dependencies to maintain momentum.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Proven experience managing successful complex technology change projects.
  • Good business acumen, especially in Financial Services.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong planning and delivery capabilities.
  • Experience with supplier management, including on/nearshore and offshore teams.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong critical thinking and flexibility skills.
