About The Opportunity

As Social Media Lead for Europe, you will be at the forefront of crafting OKX's social and cultural presence through impactful concepts and thumb-stopping content. You will lead the global social team towards big ideas, innovative executions with crypto influencers, and help grow our social communities. You will work with social media managers to define our storytelling on social especially across Europe, bring day-to-day posts to life, and collaborate with influencers to crack the next big cultural moment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ideate, oversee, and execute social storytelling on X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok.
• Work with influencers to create socially charged community programs, video content, and memes.
• Generate interesting influencer briefs and prompts.
• Grow and galvanize a community of crypto and OKX evangelists.
• Continuously explore new trends to stay ahead of the curve and deliver innovative social content.
• Generate strategic frameworks and copy for brand and product campaigns that reflect our brand's unique tone of voice and style.
• Collaborate with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, align distribution requests, and complete tasks.
• Create SOPs for effective cross-functional collaboration, resolve conflicts, and motivate the team to bring their most creative selves to work every day.

What We Look For In You

• 10+ years of experience in social media and/or brand marketing.
• Previous experience in crypto or web3 and/or deep understanding of its culture and ecosystem.
• Experience creating content for social media channels X, Instagram, TikTok, Discord.
• Social capital and experience working with top creators and influencers in Europe.
• You love and live memes — from classic memes to IRL trends, you know what's going on in popular culture.
• You get dopamine from creative taglines and social-first storytelling.
• You have framework thinking and an owner mentality.
• Strong project management skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating strategic, conceptual, and design skills.
• Proficient in social design tools: Figma, Canva.
• Exceptional communication skills in English.
• Problem-solver and flexible to adapt to the ever-evolving social media landscape.
• Prioritization skills and ability to manage timely social projects and evergreen campaigns.
