THE COMPANY

A long established central London law firm.

THE ROLE

The real estate team is seeking a 1-4 PQE commercial property lawyer.

The firm's working environment is very "hands-on," and a sound commercial sense and ability to handle clients are essential.

This team specialises in advising commercial property investors and developers on the acquisition, management, and disposal of high-value property assets across England & Wales.

Clients include a mixture of overseas investors and UK-based property funds, along with well-known high street retail, restaurant, and hotel brands.

The development practice covers various market sectors, including student housing, office, hotel and leisure, retail, residential (including build-to-rent), and warehouse and industrial.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Dealing with day-to-day landlord and tenant work for clients with large commercial property portfolios (new leases, licences, and general advice).
2. Acting for clients on sales, purchases, and the real estate aspects of refinancing (certificates of title).
3. Handling similar transactions for smaller property companies and high-net-worth investors and developers.
