The Opportunity
We're seeking a commercially-minded and proactive Business Development Manager to take ownership of a northern territory. With a strong focus on new business generation (75%) alongside developing key accounts, you'll be the go-to expert in your sector, trusted, consultative, and strategic.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building and nurturing relationships with major clients (£100k-£500k+ annual spend)
- Driving pipeline growth via outbound and face-to-face business development
- Managing full-cycle sales from qualification to proposal, negotiation, and handover
- Leading sector development initiatives and attending key site/client meetings
- Collaborating closely with admin and telemarketing support to maximise efficiency
Your Territory
Covering the North of England (Leeds upwards), including key hubs such as Teesside, Hull, Liverpool, and South Scotland. Expect 3 days a week on the road with Mondays and Fridays geared towards planning and admin.
