We are currently seeking to fill the position of Chemistry Lab Technician.

Description

Leicester Grammar School is one of the UK's top-performing co-educational HMC independent day schools.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably qualified science laboratory technician to support our Chemistry department by co-ordinating the use and development of practical and other resources for teachers and pupils. The role is primarily based in Chemistry, with opportunities to support Physics and Biology departments. You will join a team of experienced and well-qualified technicians and may receive training and mentoring, with the chance to support other sciences on occasion.

The role is full-time, during term time, including INSET days and other annual events such as the Science Fair and Open Days. We welcome applications from both experienced candidates and Science graduates with knowledge of Chemistry, who are seeking training and development opportunities or looking to progress into a chemistry or education-related career.
