Marmalade Film and Media, an award-winning, purpose-driven creative communications agency, are looking for a freelance graphic designer who can take our concepts and ideas and translate them visually in both print and digital form. The role is for short-term, freelance engagements as required.

As an agency focused on creating an impact for our clients and specialising in sustainability, social impact and DE&I, we work with a large number of clients on a variety of projects and are looking for a dynamic and engaging designer to work on a freelance basis bringing our advertising campaigns, partnership frameworks and brand communications to life. You will be an inspiring visual communicator with a flexible style who is passionate about the possibility of creating behaviour change through campaigns for good.

The successful designer will:

• Work closely with our Senior Creative and all areas of the agency to understand the strategy and concepts behind the project and execute the deliverables in multi-channel formats.
• Have a minimum of 5 years experience and be used to client delivery within global big brand houses and the corporate world.
• Ensure that your high-quality designs are impactful and effectively translate strategic direction into stand-out identities and assets.
• Have the ability to effectively organise and prioritise workloads to manage client delivery and work in a timely fashion to ensure schedules and budgets are adhered to.
• Relish a challenge and enjoy pushing creative boundaries to produce outstanding design concepts and art direction.
• Have a positive approach with the versatility to meet changing requirements and briefs where needed.

Required skills

• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
• Five or more years of experience with Adobe Suite. (Figma and Miro experience is a bonus).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Astute attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Organisational and time-management skills to ensure deadlines and schedules are met.
• Have experience of delivering a wide range of assets and skillsets including branding, digital, merch, print, presentation templates. (Web experience a bonus)
• Be willing to visit our Kings Cross based office to work from site from time to time.
