A leading law firm in London seeks a Real Estate Solicitor to join their team. This role offers the chance to work with diverse clients in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors, providing meaningful legal support while fostering career growth in a collaborative environment.
REAL ESTATE SOLICITOR | LONDON
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Real Estate Solicitor to join a highly regarded and progressive law firm based in London. Known for its work with charities, social enterprises, educational institutions and other mission-led organisations, this is a role that offers genuine scope for career development in a supportive, collaborative environment.
This is not your typical transactional real estate role. You'll be advising a broad spectrum of clients across the commercial, charity, education, retail and sports sectors, with a strong emphasis on the not-for-profit and socially responsible space.
From day one, you'll be trusted with meaningful responsibility, client exposure, and involvement in cross-sector projects. You'll work closely with experienced colleagues who value mentoring, inclusion, and helping each team member reach their potential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advise clients on a full range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, secured lending, and leasing
- Handle title due diligence on both freehold and leasehold properties (including unregistered land), reviewing replies to enquiries and reporting on search results
- Draft and negotiate legal documents such as leases, contracts, transfer deeds, and certificates of title
- Take early ownership of matters and maintain regular client contact
- Collaborate on larger projects, including charity mergers and corporate or asset acquisitions
- Balance multiple matters and deadlines using a pragmatic, solutions-led approach
- Contribute to business development and nurture lasting relationships with clients and sector partners
THE CANDIDATE
We're looking for a UK-qualified solicitor with 1-2 years, ideally with a background in real estate or commercial property law.
You will:
- Be confident managing your own caseload and prioritising competing deadlines
- Have strong technical skills and a clear, concise writing style
- Take a practical, commercially aware approach to problem-solving
- Be enthusiastic about working with clients who value impact over profit
- Thrive in a team-based environment where learning and collaboration are central
- Be proactive, adaptable, and aligned with the firm's purpose-driven ethos
THE OPPORTUNITY
This firm offers an exceptional environment for ambitious lawyers looking to develop their careers while making a positive difference. Benefits include:
- Meaningful Work - Be part of a team advising values-led clients making a tangible difference in society
- Hybrid & Flexible Working - Enjoy a balanced working pattern with hybrid options and part-time flexibility
- Progressive Culture - A genuinely inclusive and supportive workplace that champions diversity and innovation
- Excellent Benefits - Including private healthcare, green pensions, IVF support, enhanced parental leave, and more
- Commitment to Climate Action - Work for a firm that's committed to sustainability and achieving net-zero goals
- Career Progression - Structured support and mentorship to help you grow into the next stage of your legal career
If you're a junior real estate solicitor looking to grow your career with a forward-thinking, purpose-led firm, we'd love to hear from you.
