An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a well-established wholesale distribution company specializing in motor vehicle parts and accessories.

This full-time role offers a salary of £45,000 along with benefits.

As a Financial Controller, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including reporting, compliance, forecasting, and operational finance processes.

You will be responsible for:

1. Leading the month-end close process and delivering timely management accounts.
2. Producing detailed sales and forecast analysis for senior leadership.
3. Managing VAT submissions and ensuring tax compliance.
4. Handling payroll processing and related reporting.
5. Preparing year-end financial statements for audit.
6. Providing weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
7. Supervising an Accounts Assistant and overseeing daily cashbook maintenance.
8. Managing purchase and sales ledger activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Financial Accountant, Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or similar roles.
• Understanding of accounts and finance functions.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel and IT systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
