Location: Westcombe Park, Westcombe Park Road, Blackheath, London SE3 7RZ

Ratings: CQC rating: Good | Carehome.co.uk rating: 9.5/10

Salary: £29,203 - £36,088 depending on experience + £2000 annual bonus*

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours, days

Welcome bonus: £1000**

Westcombe Park is a modern care home located in a leafy neighborhood of south-east London. It provides nursing, residential, respite, and convalescence care in a warm, homely environment. The home features en suite bedrooms, some of which are suitable for couples, and is conveniently situated near transport links and local amenities. The staff focus on person-centered care, fostering independence and creating a vibrant community with various activities tailored to residents’ interests.

Your Role

You’ll help us make health happen by:

  • Using your passion for cooking and experience in a fresh food kitchen to create varied, nutritious menus tailored to residents’ dietary needs and preferences
  • Leading, training, and mentoring the kitchen team to deliver an excellent dining experience
  • Innovating in your approach to cooking while maintaining high standards
  • Managing all mandatory paperwork, including adherence to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies, budgets, and managing orders and deliveries
  • Catering for special events and seasonal activities, such as fetes, Christmas parties, and birthdays
