Department: Front of House

Location: Maidenhead

Compensation: £24,000 / year

Description

Receptionist – Part Time

Hours: 9am – 4pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £24,000

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and efficient corporate receptionist who is ready to take on additional facility management responsibilities. You will be highly organized, managing contractors, and providing admin support to the off-site Building Manager. You should be well presented, confident, and capable of managing a busy and varied role.

The role is based at a modern office building near the A404(M), J8/9 of the M4 motorway, and Maidenhead town centre.

Key Responsibilities
Reception
  • Manage and own the reception area to reflect the clients’ and tenants’ expectations
  • Greet and register visitors, providing excellent customer service
  • Manage deliveries, couriers, and post efficiently
  • Perform general administrative tasks as required
Building Management
  • Be the face of the building and the primary contact for questions and queries
  • Work closely with the off-site Building Manager, reporting issues and assisting in resolutions
  • Manage contractors, issue keys, and update maintenance logs
  • Coordinate with security and contractors to maintain standards and procedures
  • Prepare and submit weekly activity reports
  • Research and produce a monthly e-newsletter for tenants, ensuring content aligns with brand standards
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • Proven experience in a front-of-house reception role
  • Facilities management experience is desirable
  • Personable, proactive, with a confident manner and excellent customer service skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of multitasking
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and active listening skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, apps, and social media; willing to learn internal systems
