Job summary

Oscar Associates Ltd. in Cheltenham seeks a Microsoft Support Engineer to join a secure MSP environment, delivering second-line support for identity and authentication infrastructure. This hands-on role requires active UKIC DV/eDV clearance and is fully on-site in Cheltenham.

Responsibilities include incident management, platform health monitoring and administration of AD, AD FS, PKI and related technologies. The contract runs for 18 months with potential permanent placement (TBC).

Qualifications

• Active UKIC DV or eDV clearance.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory and AD FS.
• Windows Server administration.
• PKI and certificate management.
• SQL Server expertise.
• PowerShell automation experience.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Kerberos, NTLM).
• Government/defence environment experience preferred.

Microsoft Support Engineer (eDV Cleared/Active UKIC DV) | £300 - £400 per day (Outside IR35) | 18 months, with potential for permanent (TBC) | Fully Onsite- Cheltenham | Start: January 2027

We're looking for a Microsoft Support Engineer to join a secure MSP environment, providing operational support and administration of Microsoft identity, authentication and infrastructure services. This is a hands on, second-line role!

There is potential for permanent after the 18 months (TBC)
