Job summary

N Family Club in London is seeking an Early Years Educator for lunch cover at our 96-place nursery in Walthamstow. This part-time role runs 11am-3pm, Monday to Friday, supporting the N Curriculum through play and routine supervision.

You will observe and plan for key children, build relationships with families, and access ongoing training and development through N Academy. Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package reflect our commitment to staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an early years environment.
• Level 2+ Early Years qualification (full & relevant).
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and willingness to train.
• Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to refresh).
• Genuine passion for education and changing lives of children.
• Team player with a can-do attitude and positive mindset.
• Confident communicator with a love for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspire learning through our play-based N Curriculum.
• Support smooth daily routines—from mealtimes to naptimes.
• Create and implement development-focused activity plans.
• Carry out observations, assessments and planning for your key children; build strong relationships with children and families.
• Ensure your classroom is a safe, clean, and engaging environment.
• Embed all policies and procedures into daily practice.
• Be a positive role model—collaborate, motivate, and share your ideas.
