Job summary

N Family Club in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire is hiring an Educator for lunch cover, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role supports the N Curriculum, nurtures curiosity, and helps children develop confidence through play and structured activities.

Responsibilities

• Inspire learning through N Curriculum in a play-based environment.
• Support daily routines from mealtimes to naptimes.
• Create and implement development-focused activity plans.
• Carry out observations, assessments and planning for key children.
• Build strong relationships with children and families.
• Ensure a safe, clean and engaging classroom at all times.
• Embed policies and procedures into daily practice.
• Be a positive role model and collaborate with the team.

Our Early Years Educators should have…

• Experience working with children in an early years environment
• Level 2 or above Early Years qualification (full & relevant)
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a willingness to train
• Up-to‑date safeguarding knowledge (or willingness to refresh)
• A genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children
• A team player with a can‑do attitude and positive mindset
• Confident communicator with a love for customer service
