Job summary

Kirklees Council is seeking an Educational Teaching Support Assistant for our school in Huddersfield. You will support pupils in the Early Year Foundation Stage, help create a warm, safe learning environment and work as part of a team under the school's Christian ethos.

The role requires enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to support children with SEND. The position is a fixed-term contract ending August 2027, with start ASAP and both full- and part-time hours considered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a teaching assistant or support staff is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Educational Teaching Support Assistant

Our Governors are seeking to appoint a skilled and inspirational Educational Teaching Assistant to support in our Early Year Foundation Stage. Applications are invited for this job from individuals who are able to work as part of a team to support the learning and welfare of pupils in our school.

We are looking for a candidate who will:

• Be an excellent classroom teaching assistant with high standards and expectations
