Job summary

Wigan Council is recruiting an Educational Psychologist to join the Experts at Hand Team and work across education, health and social care to strengthen inclusion and support early intervention.

You’ll collaborate on strategic initiatives, lead projects and provide consultative input to schools, families and partners, helping to shape SEND developments and deliver impactful psychological practice while enjoying flexible working patterns.

You’ll join an innovative and highly regarded Educational Psychology Service, playing a key role in improving outcomes for children, young people, families and schools across Wigan. Working as part of our multidisciplinary Experts at Hand Team, you’ll collaborate across education, health and social care to strengthen inclusion, support early intervention, shape SEND developments and deliver impactful psychological practice. From working directly with children, families and schools to leading projects, training and strategic initiatives, you’ll have the autonomy to make a meaningful difference.
