Job summary

South Gloucestershire Council is recruiting Educational Psychologists to promote inclusion and apply psychology at a system level. The role involves building relationships with schools, families and partner agencies, delivering assessments and contributing to traded services.

Positions are available both part-time and full-time in a hybrid setting across Kingswood, Patchway and Yate, with DBS clearance required and a valid driving licence or alternative travel arrangements.

Qualifications

• Honours Degree in Psychology with HCPC registration.
• Masters in Educational Psychology or Doctorate in Educational Psychology.
• Qualified teacher status with classroom experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with children, teachers, families and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes.
• Deliver systemic work, casework and training using evidence-informed interventions.
• Complete psychological assessments as part of EHC needs assessments and annual reviews.
• Develop project work and traded service areas in partnership with schools and other professionals.
