Job summary

5 Star Recruitment is seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to work with children and young people up to age 25. You will undertake psychological assessments, deliver setting-based services, and contribute to statutory duties under the Children and Families Act.

The role involves multi-level work (individual, group, systems), collaboration with schools, health and social care, and training colleagues.

Qualifications

• British Psychological Society Accredited postgraduate professional qualification as an Educational Psychologist.
• Eligible for full membership of the Association for Educational Psychologists, British Psychological Society and the HCPC.
• Ability to travel independently within and outside the Borough and work flexibly to meet service needs.
• Experience with setting systems, group, and individual work with children/young people up to age 25.
• Knowledge of current legislation and how it affects education and learning.

Responsibilities

• Hold a caseload and deliver setting-based work.
• Complete statutory duties within required time frames.
• Maintain liaison and collaborate with other agencies.
• Use evidence-informed psychology to enable positive outcomes.
• Contribute to service planning and development across levels.
• Prepare and deliver bespoke training as needed.
