Oldham Council is seeking an Educational Psychologist in Spindles to join a growing team of EPs, assistants and trainees. The post offers a permanent contract and a salary of £50,987 - £61,963 per annum, plus up to 3 SPA points, for a 36.66 hour week. Closing date is 1 November 2026 with interviews at TBC.

From September 2026, the service aims to expand its Experts at Hand offering, and candidates may be considered for associate work. Contact [e-mail] for more information.

Formación

• Honours degree in Psychology with Graduate Basis for Registration as required by the British Psychological Society.
• Completion of the qualifying Masters/Doctorate in Educational Psychology; final-stage candidates considered.
• Driving Licence is required.

Responsabilidades

• Apply psychology to promote achievement and healthy emotional development of children and young people aged 0-25.
• Fulfil core Educational Psychology functions of consultation, assessment, intervention, training and research.
• Work as a member of the Educational and Child Psychology team and collaborate with other teams and agencies.
• Communicate effectively and maintain good professional relationships with colleagues.
• Provide psychological advice towards EHC Needs Assessments.
