Stockport Council is seeking an enthusiastic Educational Psychologist to join a supportive team at Stopford House. The role offers flexible hours from 0.6 to 1.0 FTE and a Soulbury scale salary pro rata, with a permanent contract.

Applicants may include Year 3 Trainees due to qualify in September 2027. The service focuses on preventative work, consultation, and capacity building, with regular supervision and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, reflective and skilled Educational Psychologist to join our friendly and supportive team.
• Applications from current Year 3 Trainee EPs who are due to qualify in September 2027 are also welcomed.

Responsabilités

• Work on the Expert at Hand delivery and capacity building with schools.
• Benefit from reduced administrative tasks to maximise EP capacity for direct work with children and families.
• Engage in training, supervision and school-based projects to develop service delivery.
