Job summary

Achieving for Children Community Interest Company seeks an Educational Psychologist to work across schools and early years settings to improve outcomes for children aged 0-25. You will provide consultation, assessments and evidence-based interventions while supporting SEND through statutory and early intervention work.

You will also contribute to training, research and service development via the Experts at Hand programme and work with education, health and social care partners to promote

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology and HCPC registration eligibility.
  • Experience (or trainee experience) in Educational Psychology with SEND knowledge.
  • Excellent consultation, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience producing psychological reports and EHCP contributions.
  • Passion for early intervention and inclusive outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation, assessments and evidence-based interventions across a patch of schools.
  • Support children and young people with SEND through statutory and early intervention work.
  • Lead training and contribute to research and service development via Experts at Hand.
  • Collaborate with education, health and social care partners to promote inclusion.
