Job summary

Leicestershire Educational Psychology Service (LEPS) is seeking Educational Psychologists to deliver a commissioned service to a patch of schools, applying psychology to support learning, development and pupil wellbeing. You will contribute to statutory activities and collaborate with partners to strengthen SEND provision.

A commitment to inclusive practice underpins our work; an enhanced DBS check is required, with flexible working options discussed during the process.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology and HCPC registration.
• Experience as an Educational Psychologist or Trainee EP in a LA environment.
• Ability to apply a broad range of psychology to support learning, development and well-being.
• Commitment to inclusion of SEND and related education policies.
• Ability to work flexibly, decisively and independently.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and with partners.
• Knowledge of SEND legislation, safeguarding and related policies.
• Strong time management and evaluating complex information from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Provide a commissioned service to your patch of schools, applying psychology across learning, development and wellbeing.
• Deliver statutory advice and contribute to multi-agency decision making panels.
• Contribute to research, projects and development within the service and partnerships.
• Provide training to schools and partners on inclusive practice.
• Support supervision, induction of new staff and trainee EPs.
