Job summary

North Yorkshire Council's Educational Psychology Team invites applications from qualified Educational Psychologists to contribute to a growing, ambitious service. You will work across nurseries, primary and secondary clusters, and TMP settings, applying psychology to support SEND outcomes.

We encourage CPD and collaborative practice, with a strong emphasis on consultation, sustainability, and positive impact on children, families, and schools.

Qualifications

  • Must have a master’s or doctorate level qualification in Educational Psychology and HCPC registration.
  • Year 3 Trainee Educational Psychologists awaiting registration are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide educational psychology input across a range of settings including nurseries, schools and specialist settings.
  • Work within a wider multi-agency team to drive positive change for children and families.
  • Develop and embed evidence-based practice using systemic and consultative approaches.
